Anyone squirrel one away? Had D&D mold my wheel and it turned out great....put the horn ring in, I even got to test drive her...fast forward and during another drive the one of the sections broke, metal very brittle.

Any ideas? I've emailed or left voicemails for:
Bernbaum Auto Parts - not listed on their website
Obsolete AP - they have the center bezel, but no ring
Big M - few voicemails and an email - no response not sure maybe he's on vacation?
Normandin Chrysler - listed as oldest dealership in the West
MB Park@Cbodies - emailed
CTC AutoRanch - they have a 62 Newport ring, no new yorker

It is not clear to me which part you are needing. Could you post a photo of your broken part? The reason I am uncertain is because I thought the New Yorker and 300s for example used the same one, and if so, I might have one.

The horn ring on the New Yorker is squared off on the two ends of the spokes. The part that broke on my ring is the top half circle that attaches to the column so 1 bolt cannot be attached.

I did find one, but to my surprise it has the same crack in it that yours does, and I hadn't noticed until I started cleaning the chrome. Looks like a pretty weak design at the junction where it cracks due to thin metal there.

You might try contacting Bill Adams who is editor of the newsletter for the western Chrysler 300 club. I am pretty sure he is the guy to whom I sold a lot of 1962 Chrysler 300H parts. He might have a spare or might know of someone who does if he doesn't.
209 402-6167 in Oakdale, CA.

Good luck
Steve
