So do you think they spliced steel into the frame to stretch it or just cut it in half and half assed it to the unibody of the Newport.

If you enlarge the underbody rear end photo it looks like the Chrysler unibody rear spring shackle perches are still being used so my guess would be is they cut the Bronco frame just aft of the transfer case and grafted to the stub frame somehow.

factory main leafs with bronco leafs added and spacer blocks? wouldn't take much to bolt f-series radius arm brackets and spring towers to a chrysler frame. weld on a bracket for the track bar.
