Looks like they did the paint scheme right over the rust out on the wheel wells and rear quarters.

That ridiculous air filter probably supports astonishing 200 horsepower...

Also looks like and open hole in the passenger side VC and it must be a kick to drive in the rain. And only 3500to 4k miles 1/4 mile at a time on nitrous.

Dave

Yea I saw this again posted up. Was going to revive the old thread where we beat on this one.

Looks like they had to do some Bondo Archaeology to find out what model the car was.

This one started out at 12-12,500. At 7500 it's almost getting to where, if you felt the drivetrain was quality, you could swap in a cheap drivetrain and sell the car for $3000 or so, and use the drivetrain to build a hotrod out of something nicer. But the missing heater box, windshield wiper system (and who knows what else) make that a dubious prospect too.

Nah, the more I type about it and think about it, it's gotta come down another $3000 to make that an option, the body on this one is too hideous.

This car is boxed in a corner, plain and simple.

Hmmm. Is that an aftermarket 'adjustable proportioning' valve? (more properly known as a pressure reducing valve)

If so, it's plumbed into the front brakes, not the back. But if it's a line-loc for burn outs, I see no wires to it?

Piss poor mounting location. Brake tubing is supposed to mount to frame rails as sheet metal flexes with the predictable result.

Dave

Yes, but I'm betting that tubing is just arched thru space, so flexing of the sheetmetal doesn't matter!
