Hello from Oz,
I'm a semi retired mechanical engineer and own a 1939 Chrysler Royal and a 1969 Fury 111 sedan.
This car is known in Australia as a Dodge Phoenix, my particular car currently has only done 58,000 miles from new.

Location: Queensland, Australia

welcome aboard. you may want to rename yourself though. we could take this a long way. they call a friend of mine donkey for a very good reason.

Hey you guy's tone it down, perhaps I should change my name, I did consider Dodgy Richard, Dicky Dodge, Tricky Dicky, Dicky Boy.

Hello from Minnesota. The land of Oz, always wanted to see the Emerald City, maybe some day.

Welcome to the zoo! Nice cars you have, funny seeing a RHD Fury. As for your name, you can call yourself whatever you want, it's fine by me.

Cant help my self, have to post again. Yeah I can understand your comments on a RHD Fury, weird to you I know.
In the reverse when I go to car shows here huge numbers are now LHD imports. Seems it is easier to spend a few dollars to import a ready rebuilt classic and put it on show than build one yourself.
These LHD cars look quite out of place in our RHD country (and try and overtake a car in front of you in one), you have to move out into the on coming traffic before you can see the road ahead, risky business!)

welcome !
We have already a couple of australian/NZ members who own the C-body Dodge Phoenix from 1965&up.

AFAIK tere were about 400 69 models produced being 4-door sedan and 4-door Hardtops

Thanks to you all for your warm welcome and some light hearted quips. I envy my stateside petrol heads, (translation... 'gearheads") with your range of V8 muscle cars, (translation... "Yank Tanks")
Never mind, I have owned a hot Jag V12 !! (translation...Overheating Jag V12 that is.) He he!!

Welcome, both are very cool cars. I've traveled internationally a little and am always interested in how cars are badged based on the market they're being sold in. It seems Plymouth was seldom used outside the US. LH Dodges in Germany were re-badged as Chrysler.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!
