Is he? Really?? How did you find it.
You left some clues, so it was easy to research, LOL. Sorry, I didn't mean to blow your cover....

Judging by the FB page, that's where he primarily does his business. The Charger was not listed there yet, I'm guessing that's the reason for the lack of windshield $$.

I see what's happening... Camp FUHOA gets a PD of it's own... next comes the overpriced speed trap and casino... do you sell tax exempt cigarettes yet?

"FUHOA" would make a great FL vanity plate. Imagine parking it right in front of the board prez's house for ****'s sake...

You have one of those image viewers that blow up 1,000X with zero loss of clarity like they have on NCIS?

Seriously, where did I blow it?
It's George's Auto Sales
US 27, Sebring, FL.

'06 cop charger with the police order package all had column shifts to allow for the police gear to be mounted at the center console location. The also have the auto stick option on the gear shift lever. Two engines offered in '06, six cylinder for urban use, 5.7 for highway patrol. With 5.7, top speed of about 142 mph. Cars were noted for rapid brake wear, linings were high friction and relatively soft, great braking but the wore out at 8k under hard police use. They were retro fitted with a harder lining compound as the factory lining wore out. The 5.7 engine in the cruiser had the same valve issues as the rest of the 5.7 engines. As previously noted. Location of the air box was too low on the body causes issues with water ingestion into the engine also as noted. Battery location under the trunk mat was not popular. Jump start lugs were available at the core support, but they were not well liked because they were two small to get a good grip with conventional jumper cables. Rear seat was a hard plastic butt shaped insert that was highly popular with officers for ease of cleaning and for giving difficult rear seat passengers an attitude adjustment driving over rough roads. Cars were noted for superior handling at high speeds. All in all once the engine issues were worked out, they were a quality cruiser.

Google Earth is useless. At one point you said you would call George on Monday. A quick search of George and Auto Sales and Sebring FL brought up the image of the sign. Even though you blurred out his name, the "tail" from the letter "G" between the word's "Auto" and "Sales" confirmed the identity. The website was a dead link, but the FB page came right up and so did the Mitsubishi in your first post.

Its not. Plastic intake. Srt8s were aluminium.

I don't think the SRT8 was offered on the standard '05- '06 cruiser. I think that required some doing to get, probably with the max performance option. They are more common starting about '12 model year.
