It´s time for the Slab picture thread

At Keith McCormick's car auction in Palm Springs, November '24. Same place where @DocMcNeedy bought one of his Imperials.

Shaky video like all the ones shot with a "phone"... unwatchable - makes me dizzy.

Thank you, I appreciate that! I also saw this too from FBBO with the posted video….

@1967Monaco500 posted in Feb 2023 that he bought the L-code blue Monaco at the November (2022) Palm Springs auction:

He hasn't been seen here since Dec 2024.

As seen on MyClassicCar with Dennis Gage, I remember seeing this car at Carlisle in 2020 but never again since. The car has a 360 and Mercury Gran Marquis seats in it….

VERY handsome, especially the skirts and correct wheel covers, snazzy color, too.

The best thing about this car is that it's the virtual twin to the one I had in 1964-1967 (see pic). I special ordered it (426-S, 4-speed, PB, radio delete, Medium Red Metallic with matching interior, but not the vinyl top) and took delivery delivery at about 1:00 PM on Saturday, 11 Nov 1964. At about 8:00 that evening, I happened to encounter a friend in a '64 Goat (360 HP/389 CID, 3 pots, 4-speed) at stop light on Main Street in my old home town of Pueblo, CO. Some 3-4 blocks later, he was in my rear view mirror and I was indicating 85+. Incidentally, shortly after that pic was taken, I married that girl (she's still stuck with me) and she had no problem driving that big, heavy 426 with no PS and heavy-duty clutch -- even in high heels.

The adventure begins, my first project car, a 65 Fury III. You can see it in "action" at 0:42 in the intro to "the Godfather of Harlem" TV series. You can see the rear and side of the car on the right at the corner of the block.
