So as many know, I have a small affinity for GA4 Mopars that stemmed from my own ownership of Delmae, a GA4 coded Polara. To give you an idea of how rare, here’s the total production percentage of C Bodies painted in 1971 (no GA4 C bodies in 1972) :
- 1.8% of all Dodge Polaras and Monacos
- 2.5% of all Imperials
- 3.8% of all Chrysler C bodies
- No figures for Plymouth Furys

Through some browsing across the internet and with the help of @ayilar, some more have been located:
- @mindshark13 T-code New Yorker EDIT: initially was being parted out but has since ended up in Finland for sale (Rest in Peace buddy. Thanks for the subframe).

And recently, my good friend The Auto Archaeologist posted a U-Code Chrysler 300 rotting away somewhere in the United States.

I would definitely love to find more hidden GA4 C bodies make their way out of the wood work and truly see how many more there are.

I BELIEVE @Dga26 has a A4 1970 Sport Fury GT that he just literally got done restoring he can add to this list, that is if I'm thinking of the correct color which is silver

1970 is EA4, which is more silver than blue. GA4 came out in 1971 and was gone at the end of the 1972 model year

Funny how Chrysler changed different letters by one year so very sorry for the mix up, I am still learning these things and don't know my color codes THAT well but I know a few. Again sorry for the confusion

It is not a problem! Trust me, I get confused all the time. Same way with EB5 and GB5 blue. If you really want to screw with your head, compare EB3 and GB2 to GA4

The letter used in the 70+ paint coding related to the first model year of use. Letter year codes started over in 1965 making the 1969 model year E.

So EA4, used for 1970 model year, was first used in model year 1969 and carried over to the next year. GA4 is a different color and was first used in model year 1971.

For colors like TX9, the letter T relates to model year 1964.

I always wondered why TB3 was like a 72 color but had a T

I think this 300 that was for sale in 2010 was GA4, but can't say for sure as computer monitors can play games with colours.

Whatever the paint code, name of the color, or shade of the color it looked pretty darned good on our beloved big cars.

It offsets the fields of red, yellow, orange, green, and purple Mopars everywhere else

Was the EA4 only available in 69 and 70? My dad had a A4 69 Road Runner and it was really sharp. I’ve always loved that color.

@mindshark13 T-code New Yorker he parted out (Rest in Peace buddy. Thanks for the subframe...

Are you absolutely positive that this ’71 New Yorker Coupe (the one with the spinner caps) has been parted out?

To me it looks awful lot like the one that has been for sale here in Finland since sometime last summer. I'm willing to bet my boots it's the same car:

That is indeed the same car, cue the fake police lights. Here is the Finnish link on Netti Auto for records. With an asking price of almost 20k euros, @mindshark13 must be amazed at the fact that the rust holes under the rear window have not been fixed...

I am surprised that the car made it overseas. Unfortunately @mindshark13 passed away in the last few months. The 1970 Polara he had was sold to a member on the Facebook page and that’s how I found out about his passing.

Yes, EA4 was a 2 year only color. To me it looks too silver for my taste. The blueness of GA4 helps it a lot, similar to EB3 and GB2

Sad to hear. He and I communicated quite a bit last Winter and I was wondering why he'd stopped responding. RIP.
Yes. A member shared a sales ad from the area about his car being for sale on Facebook. Seemed fishy at first but after talking to the buyer of the car, it was determined to be his daughter liquidating his inventory
