Visited L&L Classic Auto today on a very brisk day on the high planes. Kinda of a sad and happy place lots of cars once cared for. Good stock of cars from the 40's, little less 50s and 60s. For the E-body haters only one car total gutted. A good xsection of A and B bodies, decent representation of C bodies and early Imperials/ forward look cars. Also, two things folks have been looking for, saw a spare tire cover for a c-body wagon and gas tank. Hope it helps. Found some back up threshhold/ kick plates. have one vin plate, tried for more time was limited hour and a half out of Boise and need to get back. Therte was a lot of walking up and down hills through scrub brush. Pictures next:

Wow!! thanks for posting.

If you have time Hines auto wrecking in Mountain home is a better stop. In my opinion L&L is a pain to deal with

Can't wait to go out there this summer. Is Hines the same as Jim's Vintage?

Checked Jims vintage, online stock, no cars I'm interested in, 69 fusalge wagons and verts. L&L has wagons, helpful on phone at least to me, in person; haggled on price, was satisfied. Some people think wildcat is a pain. Have nothing but good to say about them. My experience has been good, I've bargained, some, but excepted prices when they hold the parts I want. Sometimes one has to pay the price when you say I want. cheers enjoy the pics. Anyone have suggestions of where else to go let me know, I travel 40 some weeks a year

That's the kind of place I was looking for when I was out West. No one I talked to knew of any, in-laws, store clerks, park rangers, police officers...

Looks like a good time

Curious if you drove out there, or are shipping your parts back this way? Sounds like a ton of fun, I also hope to also visit a yard with old C bodies in it someday, thanks for sharing your experience.

I think I'm fortunate, the interior parts for the back of my wagon are boxed, and squirreled away in one of the trucks I travel with. Hopefully they will be safe until mid summer. Thinking about flying home for my stop in Denver. Driving my 13 Challenger back for a little twist and turns. Then up Pikes Peak, then a drive home with parts for a week off. Wish I was going to Spokane to check out the yard that is closing
