Old Man with a Hat
1. Chasis between B & C bodies are fairly different like oranges to grapefruits. Lots of squishy rubber iso crap in there, front stub frame bolts on c body, fully welded in b body plus the aprons and rad support.
2.CSA of standard head will support appox 470 cid up to 7000 rpm ported of course fill in cam as needed. There are solid flat tappets that will run along side or better than the hydraulic roller because of mopar .904 lifter diameter, cheaper and just as reliable if proper oils are used and you don't idle the thing to death on a show field, Hughes engines makes some mopar specific ones.
Lastly 400 and 440 both have larger bore to unshroud the valve head.
3. You will be lucky to find headers you can make fit unless you really feel the need to send tti's owners grand kids to college, so the proper length will be secondary.
These are my thoughts take them as you wish, food for thought, good luck keep us posted.
Also there is a article done by Mopar Action magazine about making a c body handle it is a valuble piece for the direction you are looking at there is a thread on here that talked about it.
