LOOKING FOR FATHER'S 1971 CHRYSLER 300 U CODE POWER SUNROOF. | classic cars | Barrie | Kijiji

Would this possibly be the same car that was sold out of New York a few years ago to one of our European friends? Remember, the one that had the interior changed from white to black? It was a 71, B7/wht top IIRC........like how many of this color combo could there have been?

Being a former white interior car i'm sure polara 71 will remember it! Here's an old thread on it. I know there are a few differences but......

1971 Chrysler 300 with a sunroof

I guess that's just the visual example of the original car from his father that is in search.
That's not the car from the other cited thread I'd say. No cornering lights.

(((((((Been searching for decades for this same type car.)))))))

I have an Aztec Gold U code 1971 300 and a Tahitian Walnut T code 1971 300, both with sunroof. I will probably let one of them go after I decide which one I will restore. The U code car has original engine sitting in a Cuda I am told by the owner I bought it from :BangHead:, but the T code car has its original one. Both cars are totally rust free.

They show up in Scott's records:

Glad to see another "nut case" out there like me!:poke:

So I thought you had the burnished red 300 but I also thought you had the New Yorker that is on Scott's website too, but your blue one is a 300? So who in Alberta has the New Yorker - do you know him? Does Scott have your blue 300 in his list at this time? If not, maybe you would want to contact him to have it added.

Yes I have to contact Scott to ad my 71 300, I don't know the guy that has the NY he is up in Edmonton and I'm I Calgary.
Did you get your blue 300 recently then? It looks like it might have been an original canadian car since I don't see a/c on the body code plate. It is good to see these popping up still!

Yes I picked the the car up recently !
the 300 was the last time on the road in the late eighties, the body is solid on the car and is an 440 TNT Car. that's why I'm going to restore it.
