I bought an "offshore" blast cabinet about 12 years ago. Exact same cabinet as the HF one, but from another vendor.
Having used real "pro" type blast cabs, I was never happy with mine. I improved it with a better gun and a vented pickup from Tip Tools, and then added a flood light when the original stopped working.
It was better, but it took up some space in my garage and I stopped using it. In fact, it came close to being given away at least once.
So... Then I stumbled on some improvements on Youtube of all places. Long story short, after watching a bunch of these videos, I spent a few bucks and did most of the recommended improvements.
My blaster now works a lot better... Much less dust in the cab too. It's now in my basement shop and out of the garage too.
This guy outlines his mods. Links to the stuff he bought is below the video, click on "show more". I didn't cut the bottom shelf up for mine and the gun I use has a hand control on it rather than the foot pedal.
This next guy is incredibly boring... but at about 10 minutes in, he outlines cutting the floor and sinking it down into the cabinet. I cut mine to his specs and reinforced it with the old floor supports.
