Maytag repair thread

Sorry but I had to disagree. They use way less water and the tumbling action, actually gets them cleaner as opposed to the ones doing the twist. From my experience anyway.
Could have been the certain two models I was using. They do use A TON less water. Mine uses around 40 gallons a wash. The 70's and before top loaders have a longer agitator rotation, and wash better than newer top loaders, but if i'm not careful it can rip up delicate things. Just my own personal taste. And the detergent I use, I cant use in a front loader.
