I'm installing re-arched springs and new rear shocks on my vert this morning and last night it was front sway bar end links on the Imp to keep my mind off my absence in Carlisle.

In the books at the spring shop 2 spring heights were called out for the '71 Challenger, 7" and 8" so I had them re-arch mine to 7.5". The originals were shot to the point that one side in the rear was an inch and a half lower than the other as told to me by the shop I took it to for the front end alignment. The rear really looked low now that the front is at factory height.

Awe what the hell, I'm putting in the rebuilt 3.23 while the *** end is up in the air and the wheels are off.

The leaf spring r & r was fast and effortless and I still have the rest of the afternoon so...

Well look how clean it is under here. I hardly needed an impact except for the u-bolts.

The condition of that car just solidifies your place on the you suck list...

There were 6 jack stands under the rear for this project and I needed the wood blocks for the extra height back there.

By the time I replaced the rear end it was 6 pm and I drove it home. Going from a 2.76 to a 3.23 really woke it up and it goes down the road so much nicer with the new springs and shocks. Back to the alignment shop for an adjustment.
