The 70 is a parts truck for my 68. The new style Hurst wheels would look good on either. The greasy big block is the 400 from the fury that spun the rod bearing and trashed the crank.

It'll be a while before I'm able to use the parts i need. Let me know what you are needing. It's got a good front axle under it. Id planned on using all the leaf springs and the steering box and possibly the rear end. If i can't find replacements for my drums on the 68 ill convert over to the 70 backing plates an drums.

it's got alot of rust in the typical places floor cab mounts ect. don't get me wrong id love to keep it intact but funds are kinda short.

i might convince the ol lady to keep it. its prettier than my truck. does ride nice and the suspension is pretty fair. does have a 383 and although tired runs smooth. I haven't looked to see if it's got a steel crank but i doubt it.The cab mounts and rockers are trash and i don't know if the auxiliary tanks are any good.

All 383's had a steel crank. The 400 was the first B-block to run a cast crank.

The 68 was my first vehicle prob never get rid of it. wish i could salvage the 70 i bought also though i did buy it for parts. I've yet to have the heart to take Any parts off yet. It may be donating its 8 3/4 to my fury. Its either that or do the math and swap the 383 from the 70 to the fury and the 68 gets the 451.

thanks have to check then out, great idea lol i should have thought of that. You wouldn't believe some of the crap I've seen in "dry storage" that will prob end up in auctions.
