That's an interesting idea. Did the "media" get everywhere inside the car? All I know, whenever I've spot blasted something, I ended up cleaning up media out of every possible area, high and low, in my garage. I'd be worried the same would happen with a car that is otherwise completely together

No, the Media Blaster taped and used plastic just like a Auto Body Shop. Zero for problems.
 
About 14 years ago I had my 1970 Fury III ex-WSP squad media blasted. He did all except the underside. That time there was clean up inside etc to be done.

If the "light" surface rust scares anyone....
Not to discount anything Pete said, but anyone really scared by that surface rust should exit stage-left from vintage cars.
