My 1972 Newport: a true survivor car

Last year I ran out of spare money to sink into the car.
Just yesterday I finally pulled the block out and it's just about ready for the machine shop. I've had all the parts just waiting in my garage for some time now. Life has been in the way. This morning I got the new evaporator core, and heater core in. The majority of the heater box is back together with new foam seals. Just need to do the front part where the vents connect. Trying to wrestle the parts up under the dash is interesting to say the least. I also got a NOS heater control switch, and the FM radio installed a while back. I oiled moving parts for the dial first, and now the push buttons are very quick and smooth. Some more updates will be coming soon.

Do you have a photo of the wires installed, and could you pls provide info on what you ordered? I need a set for Buttercup, my 1972 NYB. Thank you!
