Cleaned up the interior today. Front seat will have to be redone and I'll dye all the plastic panels but overall presentable.

Nice driver and cleaned up nice!
I would use it like a truck without guilt or shame.
Hate the "jock strap" steering wheel.
Precursor to early fugly air bag steering wheels.

Gave it a quick buff and wash job on the outside. Didn't want to go too crazy as it's mostly original paint that's already pretty thin. Looks pretty decent now.

300 on back burner?
Not really. today I'm going to take care of the prep work on the 300 on the sides while it's on my lift. Then I'll get the wagon on there so I can pull the transmission. Then I'll get back on the 300 while my buddy is doing the trans. Kinda multi tasking I guess!

Got it on the lift to pull the transmission. Looks very good underneath. I'm really happy about how nice the spare tire well is. That's usually the first place to rot.

Well pulled the pan and found pieces of the broken reverse band. Guess I know why I had no reverse!

I hemmed and hawwed and farted around too long on this one. I was wanting it, but I figured "who but me wants a '70s full-sized wagon?". I'm glad it is where it is!

Let ME HELP YOU Chris! I can come remove that vile new Temptress and safeguard it down here in our barrio! YOUR SOUL IS IN PERIL!
