If that guy gets anywhere near 9 grand for that rusted, torn interior beast, I'm going to ask 15 grand fro my Newport with no apologies!!!

I could see an actual sale price between 4500 and 7500 depending on how much is rusted out and how badly someone wants it.

Looks like a dealer lot of some kind. Kind of unusual options - no power windows or bucket seats but it has power door locks and power antenna? Surprising that the radio, which looks like an R35 isn't called out on the body code plate.

Too bad it is a miserable green color. It should have been J4 instead, a great green.

It does say "obo" in the listing.

Whats the production numbers on a 71' 300 Coupe? Cant be too many of them left. The vinyl top doesn't look as bad as the underside. You can easily tell it got the Chicago salt treatment. Theres lots to like about this one. Someone needs to set him straight and offer $4500 as a starting number

Seller forgot to mention the customized state-of-the-art parking brake return mechanism. Easily 9k car with that!
That's not a return, that's a 'don't anybody ever apply the parking brake because it'll never release' preventer.

I've not sat on that particular era's style/fabric of seats, but they look super-comfortable.

I had a couple in the past, and they really are. The cloth didn't hold up all that well, but for a bench seat, that pattern and material did lend some quality to the appearance of the interior too when it is nice.

No idea what CS23T1C216812 eventually sold for (anyone here got it?), but the asking price was at some point lowered to $6,900. Before the info is gone, here is the tag:
