Thinking of thinning the heard, I have a few too many vehicles. I bought this a little over a year ago, it was pretty much bone stock with 130k on it. I actually looked at a few before I bought this one, and it was in better shape than any I've looked at. The following mods have been done:
MPX Downpipe
K&N Conical
HID 6k Headlights
50w LED Foglights
Wheels powder coated black
Aftermarket LED Tail lights (On it when I bought it)
Tuned by Speedfab (305/348 - Dynojet SAE Corrected)
It is in above average condition. Car currently has 142.xxx miles. Everything works as it should, no CEL, no smoking, no funny noises, runs and drives as it should. Tires have less than 4k miles.

I saw one of these last year, and I thought someone just went to the parts department and bought a nameplate for a Challenger.

They came out around the same time as the Neons, it was not too popular. Dodges way of trying to get back into the speed game, too little too late. I'd try to get one if they didn't go for so much, and get one that wasn't modded to the hilt.

Most that I knew about and kept tabs on got rode hard and put away wet, and quickly at that.

barrel of fun if you ask me...
I would be chirpin' tires in at least 3 gears!! :steering:

If I remember correctly, a friend who used to own a Mopar dealership went to the company announcement of these and said that in forward gear it would not let you smoke the tires before traction control kicked in but the test drivers were smoking them up in reverse!!

Wish he didn't take the pics with his Go Pro camera.... the fisheye is driving me nuts. Completely distorts the actual size and shape of the vehicle. The door shots make it look like a Smart Car for crying out loud. At first I was like what is that? Kinda looks cool and different, but then I realized it's a regular old caliber/journey thingy.

Had one of these as a loaner for a few days while the '05 van was getting its second transmission. Most uncomfortable POS I ever drove. Ok, it wasn't the SRT, but the cabin was made for a midget, and the hard plastic surfaces made an hour commute painful.

My Avenger (used to be my girlfriend's) is pretty much the same as you described your loaner Caliber, my girlfriend got a new car because of it, it hurt her that much

Closest thing to that for me was a hopped up stick shift Omni. I swore off FWD for 40 years after that. It was very traumatic.
And I'm still scared of them...
Careful... don't let Jer hear you say that.:poke:
