Some roadside attractions and scenery of the Maritimes..

Stopped for the night in Frederiction..

I had an old friend stop to visit us at the Ho-Jo's.
Gallahad who is posted in Canadian Forces base Gaugetown New Brunswick.
He last saw the BoaB few years ago still in pieces!! He was blown away to see the car and us.

Nest stop was lunch in Salisbury,NB to visit my babysitter when I was a kid
Irene and her husband Shawn.

Good to see them again since it has been 23 years since we saw each other!

Sheldon and I could not resist stopping and try the BoaB on the Magnetic Hill in Moncton!
With a full load aboard she barely made it back to the top,LOL!!
The young ladies working there fell in love with the BoaB! They really appreciated that we were driving an old car and liked the Turbine Bronze paint.

At the toll gate between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia taking a break..

In Cape Breton some mussel and clam farms..

We made it to North Sydney Nova Scotia by 7pm Saturday.
Here a "boat" is waiting to go on a boat,LOL!!

Walked into town for supper and a few beers.
Nice shot of the shipyard..

Boarding the ferry for an overnight crossing that takes 6 hours.

The crew loved the car and made sure the BoaB was parked on a deck where it will not get harmed..

Next morning drove from Port Aux Basques to Curling in 3 hours and landed in my Aunt's driveway.
First time since the 1980's a 68 Chrysler was parked in her driveway!!

August 24th to September 7th
I out over 3500 miles on the car!!

Sometimes the beauty you take for granted when growing up can only be realized when you are away from it for years and rediscover it as a visitor.
Parked at the Bay of Islands Marina,Curling,Newfoundland.
Kids fishing for Mackerel,too.

This is the house I grew up in from 1972 till 1988.
44 Dunbar Ave,Corner Brook,Newfoundland.
Today my buddy I went to school lives in it now with his wife and kids.

My buddy Joey.
He and his (late) dad Tom were very influential in me getting into old cars.
Having a few cold ones on his deck at night with Sheldon..overlooking the Bay of Islands.
