Joel-from-Dallas here. proud new owner of a 67 Imperial Crown--my first classic car--purchased locally in Dallas from eBay. 65k miles, $7,250, very nice condition. Seems to have had just a handful of owners, beginning in Pacific NW. I'm trying to care well for her.

have had to replace only alternator and power steering pump (re-man), and am now in tip-top shape.

...except for this: after replacing the pump, my mechanic (who seems to know a thing or two) showed to me there's dreadfully large free play in the front end; several parts below "extremely worn & loose". He's worried that, given the Nimitz-class curb weight, something may just snap one day.

this mechanic tried several suppliers but failed to locate the needed goodies. Do you know where I might find these?

1. Lower control arm bushings
2. Lower ball joints
3. Inner & outer tie rod ends
4. Steering idler & steering Pitman arms

Till this is resolved, I'm leaving her parked at my office--for her safety and mine!
