I will be adding some bling to the new carpeted floor mats with some early 70’S New Yorker brougham C pillar emblems.... for the front mats only.

panel in but I forgot to set the pull down springs.... so....much cussing followed by removal of rear drive connection and setting the springs. Then came the adjustment

Rear window trim is an almost perfect match to the new top material.

Rear trim panel (one piece) fit like a glove and color match was perfect.

Panel is first aligned front to back on the rear drive connectors and then side to side on the front glides.... but leaving at least an 1/8” total play.

Then push the crap out of it to the front with the motor and your arms to compress the front seal and help the motor rotate the rear drive connector pivots up to set the rear seal. Check alignment and if ok leave it overnight to allow everything to take a set.

Front alignment... check.

Overall fit.... check.

That new vinyl top looks very impressive. I need new vinyl on my car but super scared of trying any shops in my area.

Javier did you have to pull the whole headliner to access the sunroof for adjustment? Pics and details if you have any please. Thx

Not at all. All the adjustments are possible including installation of the panel without disturbing the headliner.

just wondering if you plan on dying the faded carpet on the seat backs ?
my red interiored 78 has the same fade and i was wondering how to deal with it - what product to look for etc
