1936 DeSoto Airflow Sedan - $16,000 - Bonsall, California

FB Description

We have built by Chrysler, but De Soto owns it. It's a unique vehicle for special owners. My father's price collection.

Newer paint and nice interior is half the battle done.
Good deal on this "Turkey" that made automotive engineering history but was way too far ahead of its time.
The Desoto models are among the rarest numbers wise and are a rolling museum of the art deco movement.
Love to have one someday but this one is too far away.
 
I think Airflows are really cool. The original owner of my 300F at the time when I bought it also had a 1935 Desoto Airflow coupe. One thing that struck me about his car was that it had some parking lights just below the headlights, but most Airflows I have seen do not have them - so I am guessing it was an option possibly. Here is a 1935 Desoto Airflow that had that option - the parking lights are the vertical round tubes below the headlights as seen in this photo:
