1969 Chrysler 300 Sedan - $2,500 - Wanamaker, Indiana

CL Description

1969 Chrysler 300 4 door hardtop

I bought this car out of Tucson, Arizona in the early ’90s. I drove it for a summer and sold it to a neighbor, who drove it year-round until about 2000. It has been parked inside in dry storage since. It now runs good and lot drives from an auxiliary 1-gallon fuel tank. The brakes are down and the fuel system is stale. It would be a great donor of its steel crank 69 date code 440 engine and 727 Torqueflite trans. It will drive onto a trailer, but is NOT roadable! I have a clean Indiana title in my name. $2500

I know the seller, bought a car from several years ago. Hudson car guy, likes mopars. He drove a 65 or 66 New Yorker daily to work at the time. Had a few nice mopars at the time, I believe he has sold most of them. Owns several Hudson's, still has the car he drove in High school. Honest guy.

Really? Selling as a donor car?? Worth the asking price for the Nixon bumper sticker alone. You can't save them all but this one should live.

Truly a "20 footer." However, for the price, I expected a real POS. This care is savable!

The air cleaner on this got me excited but it turns out it is the 350hp version of the 440. If it was the TNT I was going to go for it. There can’t be many of those left.

So, for lack of an extra 25 hp you'd let this be a donor and the body be derby fodder?
