That could be a fun car. Not sure if the price is about right or not. Engine not running simple or more in-depth?
Looks like a weird place for rust around that emblem.
I like different.

Yah probably the whole tub is rotten. My buddy had one in the late 80’s. Besides overheating it was a pretty fun burnout machine. It was pretty rusty so when you did burnouts it would fill up the cabin until you couldn’t see. I’d come home and my mom would always ask why I smelled so bad. My dad just rolled his eyes - he knew...

Price looks right. Fix the motor and drive it as is or start digging the money pit.

You would definitely only want a California/Arizona because of the rust. It appears pretty clean. I went and looked at one some time in the 90s in Ohio from Ohio. The rust was beyond repair in my book, these cars didn't hold up well, if ever driven in the salt.

Back in the middle 1970s, I had an idea that I might like something Euro with an American drivetrain, especially a Chrysler V-8. UNTIL I finally looked at one on the new car showroom floor of an area foreign car dealership. It was a used car that had not been cleaned-up. I looked under the hood and saw where the spark plugs were. END of desire for one of those.

Wonder why the orig seats were replaced?

Enjoy!

Those fancy leather seats are $$$$$ cheaper to throw something else in for now I bet.
