1967 Chrysler Imperial
condition: good
cylinders: 8 cylinders
fuel: gas
odometer: 86100
title status: clean
transmission: automatic
type: sedan
I sold this vehicle on Ebay this past Saturday for $ 4,800 indicating it was a local sale only, and some bright bulb down in Florida was the winning bidder. Therefore, the ebay sale has been cancelled and this is being offered locally to anyone who can pick up no later than this Thursday morning. The first $ 4000 takes it, and the price is firm. I cannot and will not accept offers. If it does not sell and is not picked up by Thursday morning, it will go into storage. Cash, Chase Quick Pay, or Paypal accepted. No personal checks or money orders. Clear Wisconsin Title in hand.
1967 Chrysler Imperial. 86,100 Original Miles, V8 - 440 Engine. This Imperial is in good operational order. The engine runs strong, transmission solid, and no fluid leaks. The tires have plenty of tread, and the exterior is in very nice condition, retaining about 75% of it's original metallic bronze paint. It appears as if the drivers side rear panel was repainted at one time, and there are a few other small touch ups. The interior is also in very nice condition, including the headliner and trunk. There is one small tear on the drivers seat.
As with any 52 year-old vehicle, I will describe any current deficiencies. The original clock no longer keeps consistent time. There is a sometimes annoying sound coming from the front passenger hubcap, the result of a loose rivet or nut. I tried to remove it and was unsuccessful. This is nothing mechanical in nature, and the worst case scenario would be to replace that hubcap. There are a couple of very small dents on the roof, and it appears that someone must have tied something down to the roof at one time. They are small, about the size of a quarter, and not very deep. At the last recent oil change, the mechanic had a difficult time trying to reinstall the original oil plug. He didn't want to strip anything, so he installed a magnetic oil pan plug. It works great with no leaks, and a spare plug, and original Service Manual will be included with the sale.
Once again, no offers under $ 4000 shall be accepted, and I am not interested in any trades.
