More and more Japanese cars are built in the US while American makes are increasingly being built in Mexico, Canada, Korea, and now China.

Somebody's head is way up their ***, somewhere....

Don't think Canada is seeing increased auto production just the opposite even though our plants rate highest in quality cheaper labour in Mexico is draining production. Hell FCA is building cars in Brazil, Serbia and Poland now for NA market. They are moving low margin vehicles to low labour cost countries (Dart to Mexico) and vice versa (HD Trucks coming back to MI) just so they can offset the higher cost of labour in the US and Canada. There is a whole new alphabet to learn on first digit VIN plates now.
