1000$ for a slant/6??? yea I don't think so, I would bring my own wheels and cherry picker, rip that engine out and give him 2500, 3 for a Solid body if it has one....

I might want a closer look at this one, it has a silver and black interior and it looks original. If it's solid it's worth 8K, if it does run, drive and has decent tires, I'd say it's worth what he's asking.

Now I would do 6 on that in a HEARTBEAT, that wont last long. I went and looked at this 69 Bee and the guy originally wanted 12K for it and the only piece of metal that is solid on it is the Pass door. He said he got offered 12 but I think people were just yanking his chain.

That green '68 is in a little better shape than this roached '69. The '68 is a member's car and also a good friend.

I would LOVE to have that 68 I would not hesitate about doing 6 on that, That 69 is a total basket case I told the guy to find a Solid 69 4 door and steal the metal off of that for the bee. another Case of a guy thinking he has more then what it's worth.

10k....for a plain Jane coronet? Slant six...Resting on its drums? With black and silver slip covers on the seats... No power brakes. And whatever silver thing is on the driver fender? I don't think so. Our did he put too many zeros on the price.

Those aren't slip covers at all, that's the original seat pattern and the vinyl piping on the side of the driver's seat back has turned slightly brown just as the originals in my Imp have. The chrome piece on the fender is a stick on plastic appliqué and the car is sitting on some blocks so nobody makes off with the car as it's likely not sitting in the best of neighborhoods. The car does not appear to have lived a rough life in its current state. I'll stick with my last statement that if it runs and drives without issue and there's nothing hiding under that paint that's an 8 to 10K car.

I'd love to see it but I doubt I will. I don't have that kind of time these days, not only that but I already have a '68 Coronet. If I went and looked at every Craigslist car that sounded interesting around here It'd be a full time job.

I noticed the rockers being painted too, a definite flag.
