Yup, If I ever get a 69 300, I'm putting recall wheel repops on it. Looks great.
I think I would do the same thing.

so, is the 15K bid a "phantom" bid?He will be lucky to get anything over 10K for this car. C-Body fans dream of big money when they want to sell, but the reality is that C-Body fans don't want to pay. I just sold my C body convertible (which is a very rare engine/trans combo) for less than 15K...and the buyer for my car is in Australia! To the owner, I say good luck with the sale, but unless you drop the price you will be holding on to it for a long time.

ok, thanks, couldn't think of the right word...I think "shill" would be more like it...
The reserve is not even met with a $15K bid...like I said, good luck with that. Come back down to the real world.I think "shill" would be more like it...

... I think there are people out there that do opening bid on reserved stuff just for the thrill, knowing they can't be forced to buy,...
eBay rules, reserve must be 20% more than the opening bid. Reserves on eBay generally don't work in favor of the seller. I've always realized higher final bids with low opening bids and no reserve. In this case, if you really want the car, work for the highest bid and then make a deal with the seller. However, a newbie with zero feedback will most likely re-list this car until it rusts into the ground, or is sold by his estate.Really screw with them by setting your reserve the same as the opening bid.
That tells you something about the market. The auction completed this afternoon. There were 3 bidders who submitted bids up to $16,200 and reserve wasn't met. So it didn't climb much from the starting bid of $15,000.
