I think the GM 409 is right up there in the looks department. Never been a GM fan myself, but I have lusted after a freshly painted and detailed 409 engine if for nothing other than to sit pretty in the shop. Anyone else think this head/valve cover looks fantastic?

There's lots of desirable cars out there, I tend to a late50s/early 60s high performance Full Size stripper some time in the future and I wouldn't rule out the W-engine generation cars from Chevrolet either.

Got a young friend with a 53 Desoto custom that has a 409. Interesting car.... Pulled out of a junkyard where it sat for many years. Most people would have crushed the car. The flathead gave out (I have it in my garage now) and he had the 409.

I always admired the 4BBL Cleveland head/valve cover! The Buick Nail heads were unique too !
