Hey guys.
I have been having dramas with the 727 and had it in a trans specialist to get some work done (sealed up mainly). Got it back and they have not adjusted the park cable properly and it doesn't engage the neutral safety switch in park. No major problem. Get under to adjust it and loosen the retaining bolt only to find that it doesn't want to tighten up again. I checked the thread and its fine so I did some research on what the bolt looks like. found this thread... Mopar Push-button transmission park cable tech tips
It is the 7th pic down from the "park cable" section with a pen pointing to it. How the fudge is that supposed to hold anything or even tighten???
I have adjusted the cable and it engages the switch now but I dont really want to be driving it and the bolt falls out.
Any experience out there with these things?
