Dallas, Cedar Spirings at Maple,.

Art Deco, terra cotta clading. LONG GONE (without a trace), but interesting History. Didnt know how close to city center it was, but as much as Dallas has grown in 100 years, I guessed before I looked it HAD to be gone.

Source: Simms Super Service Station, Cedar Springs & Maple — 1930

Built 1929. Simms Super Station, didnt last a decade as this business. Had other NON- autto businesses -- kinda like a 1930's mini-mall

1937, Woodward at 12 Mile (Dream Cruise go right by here), Royal Oak MI.

Once a gas station corner, always one I think (at least it has been since 1975 in my personal experience). Probaly been 10 different franchises in 90 years.

location unknown, circa 1930's. Early cars "drank" as much oil as they did gas, I learned in my OEM car making days. Many had "oil pumps among the gas pumps.
