This place was covered in post #1235 back in 2023. It didn't have this picture of this '37 LaSalle getting some service in 1938.

Five guys pumping gas, washing the windshield, checking oil and tires. Today, the only person you see might be a cashier and only if the "pay at the pump" system was down.

Reported to be still in business at a different location in a generic dealership building.

"Evolution of Robinson Motors, Kentville, N.S. The first photo is Robinson Chevrolet and the former Porter House hotel, 1920's. Notice the pumps right on the curb! The second photo is the fire that destroyed the buiding in 1949. By this time, they were Texaco dealers, still with the pumps beside the traffic. The final photo, from 1959, shows the handsome building that replaced it. By this time, Robinson's was selling other GM products as well: Note the Frigidaire Appliances sign on the far end. The pumps are now on the other side of the sidewalk, on a proper island. Subsequently, Robinson's switched to selling Chrysler products, in which they still trade today. Their premises have long since been exiled to the outskirts of town, along with the other car dealers and light industrial enterprises deemed by the town fathers not to be "civilised enough" to be on Main Street. Recently, this handsome building was bulldozed to make room for a vacant lot."
