These came on a ‘65 Chrysler recently obtained.

Thanks guys, I see some now on eBay and a ‘66 300 for sale ad.

I’m working out some details on a ‘65 300L that is new to me. It was bought a few months ago. These wheel covers are sportier than the original that came on the car. The car itself was owned by Don Rook and it’s another 4-speed car. Details will come when I can.

A quick look in the 1966 Parts book confirms 1966 and not 1965 as an option on 300s. They look good now as well as back then. 14" wheels, which were "common" back then.

Enjoy!

These require the deep '66 Charger wheels to work, IIRC. Did the 300 have the same Charger painted wheel?

14x6 wheels on the 66 300. That’s why these caps came on the car.

Chargers had 14x5.5 wheels and a front sway bar standard.

Yes, Charger and 300 had the required wheels for those caps. The unsuspecting out there that find a nice set and try to run them on the 5-1/2"-wide wheels on other Mopars will find they won't stay on the car.

I took the wheel cover off and here’s a photo by the valve stem.

FYI, the yellow ‘66 in my above photo is just from the internet. I posted a few photos of the ‘65 I just picked up below.
