Found this after throwing out a line for a 73 disc brake setup...

I will be pulling it home from Milwaukee this weekend.
My conundrum is now that this looks to be in too good of condition to rip apart for the brakes!!!

yah it is so far looking too nice to tear down...
Has a 400 Magnum, not sure if it a 2BBL or 4BBL
BB 727
72,000 on the clock
just has some old fluids and a few flat tires.

Stored in a garage for over 20 years and never winter driven!!!!!!!! AAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!

Damn that underneath is CLEAN!

Looks like you're still gonna' have to keep looking for a disc brake setup... :poke:

Tell me about it.... I am not happy about that part but if I can clean this one up and flap it, I can get a free disc brake conversion out of the deal with the cash I earn from the sail...

I made sure I didn't use the bad four letter word....:stop:

To nice to part...not my style but someone's gona want that one....undercarriage will be a indicator as to rest of cars condition which looks to b pretty darn good

I agree with Critter, if the undercarriage is any indication it has been well treated. How much trouble do you have to go through bringing one of these back? Couple of days notice at the border, paperwork, taxes and that's it or do you just get the broker to do the RI and pay them?

You are required to use a US broker to do the export from the US, even if you are bringing the car back yourself. They require a copy of the title, bill of sale and your ID. They then send the info electronically to the crossing of your choice with the export date (minimum 72 hours ahead). They give you the export number, and when you get to the border, US customs will verify the serial number on the car, the title, and stamp the form you give to Canada customs to pay your taxes.
