Thanks. Needs a a/c compressor and the heater core is bad. A old man bought it new and passed on, his son got it, drove it for 2 or 3 years as a everyday car and the power steering started leaking and the heater core went out so he parked it OUTSIDE for 2 more years and the man I got it from saved it and has been in his collection for 4 years before I got it. Heck it`s growing on me now. Nothing like cruising 75 with the windows up and the A/C ON!:eusa_think:

I will trade it as well. Check ebag and see what they are selling for.

Great condition for being outside all those years. How does the rest of the interior look?

Hey, I meant it sat out for a year or two in a lean to. It has been a driver for 2 or 3 years and sat out under a lean to for a year or two. The stainless and bumpers are almost mint. It was garaged before that and has been since. Sorry for the type o and misunderstanding.

soo cool ! ! Some of my buddys ask me about my 71 monaco. and say things like why do you waste your time with that thing.. they all have newer cars and thats it no hobbies. no lives really. they will never understand. bigger the better !

Nope, it went to a good home. Wouldn`t have let that happen. I ran across that car looking for one for my 440. STILL haven`t found a good car for my 440 either lol.

Hemming's Classic Car Magazine September 2011 has a beautiful 1968 Imperial Crown on the cover and several great stories (11 pages) on the 60's Imperial's in this issue.

I just ordered and received a copy of Collectible Automobile, August 2006, which has a 15 page article "Extinction Event - The Story of the Full-Sized 1974-78 Chrysler's". And a side story "Some Kind of Miracle: The Imperial's Brief Reprieve".

I have a dealer promo book for the 66 Imperial and it is neat.Has a lot of neat photos and info about the car. I am going ti ebay it if I can find out how to list it.
