Based on the rest of the date on the ring gear it looks like a ‘73.
 
The 73 axles will not work in the 69 as the 69 rear axle assy was narrower than the 70 to 73 units.
Thanks Gary, I just asked my rear axle guy and he said they were the same but I’d be confident that you would know the particulars in the C body world better.

Yeah, when the fuselage cars were released in 69, customers and prospective buyers made complaints about the rear track looking too narrow for the car so it was decided to widen it to make it look correct. The input splines on the 70 and later don't step down behind them like they do in 69 either.
