Crap man, just ordered it and cost me $60 including shipping. You have the one that folds down for the 66 Fury rear bumper? The fuel fill is behind the bumper on the 66. Oh well, an hour short of seeing your post!!

I'm sure it will be solid but I would bet it is pretty rusty. The rear end of my 300 and I am sure everyone's car is where all the dirt and grime collects. I ended up taking a sand blaster to mine before I painted it. If you take yours apart take some pictures. I didn't because it seemed simple enough, but the spring needs to be wrapped a certain way and it gave me fits until I figured it out.

Yes, dont assume its in the mail already. I would expect within a week it would get shipped
He's not fast. Took over a month for me to get parts from Murray a few times. You have to be very specific about condition of what he's sending to you.

Should I call him again? I don't want to be a pain, but could use the part, like now!
If you don't get it in a week or so I would call him, but like it was mentioned before this is not his full time job. He is actually postal worker and it seemed like he usually gets everything packed on Sunday, but being a small item I noticed he was usually quicker and the fact that he probably doesn't have to take one off the car.
I doubt if you really will get it any quicker calling him in the phone. He will get to it when he can get to it.

Bingo. This is what you will run into dealing with small business owners. We are wearing every hat to run the business and when you have a full time job too, like Murray, speed is not what you are paying for, you are paying for items you can't find any where else.
I would not recommend ordering an out of stock item from Moparts, it would kill you. I waited I think nearly 2 months for some window gaskets which no one else carries, but I eventually got them and was not charged for them until they were shipped.
