It was a different time. They were set on a V6 . It could have been so much more. A little bigger, heavier, longer. Rumble seat, Hemi , Front fender without that stupid bumper thing.

 

They tried to make up for it with the Howler, but it still only had a 4.7 as a powerplant.

You just can't beat that throaty V8 sound, but damn that Lambo sounds fun! Those flat-plane cranks make a hell of a high winding sound. I bet that thing is a blast in the curves and straights, but she ain't built for standing starts.

I heard a story on the radio this week, driver arrested in Detroit on the lodge freeway after going 155 mph in a 55 mph in a Dodge. I am assuming a Hellcat but they just said Dodge.


I got back to work after lunch and was greeted by this....
