I'm more fascinated with the fact that in this day of online shoe purchasing and everything being made in China, that they exist.

When was the last time you saw a shoe salesperson besides Al Bundy using one?
 
I'm a John McHale fan, at least I used to be when thy were made in London Ontario. In the late 1950's I visited the factory and they custom made me a pair for the, at the time, crazy price of $35. They were a wonderful shoe! The last time I saw the same type of shoe in a retail store they were around $300 and were branded Florsheim.

I have the same thought every time I look at it. It's also impossible to park exactly in line to both Garage walls in the upper single car Garage. Drives me nuts :realcrazy:
