I have to admit I never learned to like this rather widespread Kind of Wood paneling given in your example. I prefer the darker smoother surfaces in general.

my parents had a similar set only in white with gold flecks. chairs were a hard vinyl. they had the same cabinet hardware also, on plywood cabinets.

a full set of these too. stunk after about the third time they were washed.

Never knew they shortened the Name in some Export countries.
Ovomaltine in the land of origin and neighboring countries. They changed the flavor unfortunately some time ago with a less malty taste.
