SATO, THIS ONEZ FOR YOU PAL

Thought you checked it out at Carlisle Dave?
I did and now seeing pictures and the breakdown I want one again.
@commando1 it's a pick up doesn't every man want a pick up. Don't even say that's not a pick up it is as much as these overweight, sissy, four door, $50000 plush mobiles that people can't get enough of. And I think the bed is longer than most of the half tons I see...... Oh that's right you don't actually use the bed on a half ton because it is already overweight empty.

I love it Jer and I still want one.

You must be stewing while Receiving is taking their sweet time.
Yes not really the cranemans fault, I am at one of these places where the safety Dept really oversteps the boundary of common sense. The receivers have a work around, but it still slows things down having to put on a harness to walk on a open flat trailer. It ties you to a overhead beam that is in the center of your trailer, if you fall off it will stop you and allow you to swing into the side of the tarp rail which I guess is better than hitting the floor four feet away.
On top of that I have had this load for over 24 hour because I broke down with a crapped out alternator in the door of the mill I loaded it out of. Last day of the week for me. Tomorrow is off to the Nats.

Wait for green light.
Back into dock.
Unhitch and pull forward.
Place stand under nose of trailer.
Hand over tractor keys to Reciever.
Warehouseman padlocks trailer gladhand. Checks for chock blocks.
You open door.
You have 8 stacks of empty pallets which warehouse refuses.
Backhaul consists of 22 pallets.
WTF to do...
Call dispatcher. Dispatcher rips you a new butthole.
Take disciplinary letter for a missed pickup next morning and smile.
Do it again.

Both you guyz are killin' me here. FYI my two trucker budz, Mother Mopar rated these little Trucklets @ 1152lb haul weight out of the box. That makes 'um 1/2 ton haulerz. When I picked up the complete 440 motor from the Builder up in Lansing, Mi. for the Batwagon transplant in '07, It weighed out @ 770lbs. And the poor little Beast couldn't get up to double nickle at the end of ah long down hill on ramp, AND I THOUGHT FOR SURE THE kENNELWORTH CLOSING ON ME THE END OF THAT RAMP WAZ GONNA EAT ME. That'z what started this littlle extended odyssey with the Scamp. Now it will haul 1/2 ton and go like hell doin' it without even breathin' hard, thank you very much.
