Yep. My eyes haven’t stopped burning for two days. We are about 15 - 20 min from where it stared but out here that’s like a world away depending on the direction of the wind. The canyons were yellow or brown hasn’t rained in months. I was just laughing and telling Chris (azblackhemi) at the Fall Fling that Az got all our rain this last time around. It’s usually visa versa.
The cruise route we take thru the canyons to the ocean is pretty much nuked. I think where we all park on the PCH is a couple miles up from that nuke pic he posted. I heard it took about 8 hours to get from Zuma down to the ten. Just pure crazy. The winds were so fast, 50mph or so that nobody had any real time to flee. They bailed or got screwed. I saw a pic where the bridges melted, how do you get out when that kind of crazy is going on?
