These cars are an absolute blast. You really don't know what you're missing unless you've driven one.
Met up with Wyatt yesterday at my shop then we cruised over and met up with another Scat Pack owner who had the Hellcat supercharger set up in his ride.
Wyatt got a set of new rear wheels that he plans to use for his drag radials.
He's still in the game, just the new game is a different animal.
After we grabbed some lunch we hopped on the toll way and let 'em rip.
In an instance, we were clockin over three digits.

Had the Scat Pack out over the weekend and met up with Wyatt after he called to let me know about a huge group of modern muscle cruising the area and gathering at various locations.
It was something like a Takeover event, but not as insane like the crap happening on Chiraq, but more like a mobile car show.
By time I got to the first location at a Target store parking lot, the local police were already telling everyone they had to leave.
Don't know why they had everyone leave especially since nobody was being stupid.
Next, a bunch cruised to a local food joint and overtook the parking lot.
The owner of the restaurant was glad to see everyone.
This "Takeover" phenomenon is the new generation of cruise nights.

We have that around here also with all the late model muscle. Usually burnouts everywhere, donuts and then everyone heads out for roll racing on the express ways. Kind of fun, but just not the same as good ole old school light to light action. Mine isn't a Scat Pack or H.C. but still a fun car.
I actually have more fun spanking all the late model muscle in my Roached Runner when they pull up laugh, Rev their engines, then loose and now have the look of WTF just happened....
