Friend of mine got this from his father-in-law. Supposedly came out of '69 Charger. Y'all are probably sayin, big deal...but for me, 1. Price was right, free. 2. I have never rebuilt a motor. I have helped a couple times build my Pontiacs', reassembled it once, but never did a total rebuild myself. I figure this would a great starting point, just a straight forward, stock motor that would be a backup to my Poly. 3. With the LA 318, I will more and affordable options, maybe put a little more than stock cam, 4 barrel intake/carb?

I still have a ways to go on finishing the frontend work then painting on the Fury, it runs fine like it is, but if I were to need another motor, hopefully I will have the LA if needed. I think it will be fun and a good experience, I'll be hitting y'all up as far as recommendations once I tear into it. L8R, Kel

Here are the numbers off the block & heads. Can I assume that they are nothing special and easy to get parts for?
