Has anyone on here used custom seat covers to cover up torn upholstery? If so, are they worth it and what is the best company? I want to get my seats done professionally one day, but right now I have too many projects around the house to take care of.
Thank you for any input.

LOL. I already have a burnt orange towel over the seat.
I wasn't asking about cheap Auto Store covers. There are companies that make covers designed to fit over the original seats.

It's not a bad idea, but I imagine when all is said and done it will cost about the same as a legendary interior that you could do yourself. I had it done on a car years ago, it looked nice and lasted forever, but it wasn't cheap, IIRC, custom labor is expensive. As far as a a shop is concerned, look around local. I found a boat upholsterer that did my wife's convertible top last year, and wouldn't hesitate to ask him to do custom seat covers.
