Good morning fellow C body people. I am going to put the Sniper Fuel injection on my Monaco. When I did this to my 66 Polara I had to drill a hole in the tank for the return line. I'm trying not to do that this time by seeing if anyone on here has any information on a 3/8 supply sending unit with the built in return. I see those were available but I think just in the A and B bodies. Would they fit?

Sniper 1 or 2? If it's the 2 you can dead head the fuel line. Use a b body holley pump/sending unit.

How accurate is your fuel gauge now you're using the B body sender?
LOL they are supposed to be the same resistance in the sending unit. I did ohm check mine when I got it and it was correct.

That being said I have an aftermarket autometer fuel gauge that was packaged as a Mopar gauge but it reads low. When the tank is full is shows 1/2. I have not checked the resistance to the gauge yet to see if it is getting the correct resistance. I used the original wiring and ground so that might be causing it. If the resistance is correct from the tank to the gauge, I will be ordering a new gauge. I have been told the aftermarket gauges have been off as of late.

"IF" you tweak the float arm enough, the Sender/Gauge will be dead nuts on. I had to go back in and tweak it once after initial install to get it right.
Does the tank have to come down to replace the sender? I'm trying to figure out a fuel return without punching a hole in the tank.

not for the sender. if you MUST have a return line you'll be dropping the tank to put one in. I dead headed mine with zero issues.

If you use the 1/2 inch sending unit I linked up at the top it has a line for return.
