dodgy messed up or defective. The crockery water dispenser provided by my drinking water service wasn't glazed on the bottom and thus leaked. The woman with whom I lodged my complaint said that it sounded as if I had a "dodgy" one. My Oxford Australian says "awkward, unreliable, risky." There is also a second meaning listed: "cunning, artful." Aussie Taryn East adds, "There was a comedy series on TV that featured a series of skits where a pair of crooked salesman were featured: called 'the dodgy brothers'. This has entered Aussie popular culture, with the term being used for crooked/shonky workmanship, cost-cutting and the sorts of people that would cut any corner to make a little more money."

It seems as though he's trying to pull a fast one on others, therefore, considering the bloke dodgy is fair. Wish I had the time to go and see it for myself, as it's in the same State (it's 600 kms away).
However; after contacting the seller, this is his response:

Thanks for taking your valuable time to point out that,.
To be honest, I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
All photos are recent and of my car.
So it must be a coincidence mate.
I'd be interested to see what your on about thou.
Cheers for your input......

I'll post this follow-up message from the seller here and that will be the end of it, I still like the car, regardless: I just got that link too work.
Your right mate, that is my engine in that article.
They have copied it.
Many years ago I listed the car for sale, I goggled 70 Monaco for a bit of info and found that sales broucher.
I copied some of the pictures to a folder to show what the car looked liked new. Awesome Car.
I can only say the hooniverse? [ not shore who, or what that is ] has copied and mixed those pictures themselves.
Not accusing anybody of anything, but I can say 100% that is my Engine Bay.
If you look at that engine bay shot close you can see the Car is not in great shape.
And clearly not the engine bay of the new one shown.
Hope this helps everybody and clears up that little issue.
As mentioned, I have a Vid of the engine running strong. but can not post here.
Regards to all.
Greg

thanks crv.

the seller's explanation is just not hanging together for me. I will not call him names, and not trying to disrespect his car, but these photos are from two different cars - an L code "tan" one, and an N code "green" one -- and not two different times for the same car.

Everyone else can and will make their own judgments :-)

I wish him good luck with his sale.
