1962 Plymouth fury

condition: excellent
cylinders: 8 cylinders
drive: rwd
fuel: gas
paint color: blue
title status: clean
transmission: automatic
type: convertible

Very nice Fury convertible in great shape. 318 push button automatic with power steering. From Colorado high desert. No rust or body damage. This is a very solid car. Chrome is near excellent. Convertible top like new. Needs a little TLC. Very restorable. This is a good running car that has been stored in my heated garage for over fourteen years. Recent brake work, new master cylinder and all wheel cylinders. Great potential for the restorer or use it as a very nice driver as is. Below Hagerty valuation guide, $16,000 obo.

:thumbsup::thankyou:........ Drooling....... What a beauty. It's an early production 62 with a one year, Fury only, color, (Luminus blue). The incorrect upholstery really distracts and cuts into the value. 12K as is maybe.

What tidbits stood out that let's you know it's an early production?

A couple of things. 62 Plymouth Fury's went through three "in production" changes. This one having the wide front fender chevron and trim as well as the lack of the inner tail light makes it a first production run. The second edition added a inner tail light unit, (three per side in total with the center being a back up light), and a 6 piece chrome pot metal trim was added to the top of the front and rear fenders.
Final production used the "sport Fury" thin front fender molding in place of the chevron and wide molding.
All done in the interest of making the car more appealing to the buying public I suppose.

Drop the price the cost of some Legendary seat covers and I’m liking this car. Maybe get the dash restored also but I like this year Fury and Polara verts.
