'71 Chrysler with the A01 LIGHT GROUP - this says it includes a time delay ignition switch light. Mine is not working.
I am guessing the first step is to test the bulb under the cap, but if that does not work, what would you check next? I am guessing there must be a relay somewhere.

thanks,
Todd

Yes there is a delay switch under the dash near the steering column. It looks like a flasher but smaller. It will have 3 wires connected to it. One is for power, one goes to the light and one to the door ground switch.

If it's like my '70, and I think it is, there's no bulb under that cap. Instead the bulb is under the steering wheel and the light is "transmitted" up through a fiber optic type piece of plastic.

If you don't have one, you really need to have a factory service manual. Service Manuals – MyMopar has a 1970 version, but no 1971. You can find one on eBay though. I always suggest the digital versions as you can print out what you need for the garage, highlight and scribble on as needed and toss when done. Great for electrical diagrams.
